OperaCocktail On The Move

OperaCocktail was yet again sailing the seas earlier this month with Cunard cruises. The three performances and accompanying workshops were met with admiration and appreciation in equal measure by the guests on board, and it was a delight to connect with so many folk new to OperaUpClose. The cast now swap the sea for the road as we take this musical picnic on tour, kicking off at The Key Theatre in Peterborough on Thursday 1st February, heading over to Oxford Playhouse on the 3rd February, then back home for 2 performances at MAST Mayflower Studios on the 7th February. OperaUpClose Artistic Director, Flora McIntosh said:

“What’s beautiful about this show is its simplicity; well-loved classics in modern English translations, performed by exceptional musicians, telling a story everyone can relate to. At 60 minutes long OperaCocktail is a little theatrical gem that has something for all. We have been delighted by the reception so far on sea and land and can’t wait to introduce more new audiences to our work in Peterborough, Oxford and Southampton.”
